Dear Colleague:
  • On behalf of the New York Metropolitan Chapter of the American Public Works Association, you are invited to attend the Product & Equipment Exposition during our Public Works Week Celebration to be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Town of Orangetown Highway Department, located at 119 Route 303 in Orangeburg, New York.
  • NAVIGATE HERE TO THE REGISTRATION SOLICITATION PAGE!
  • The New York Metropolitan Chapter includes the seven Lower Hudson Valley Counties of Rockland, Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester as well as New York City and Long Island.
  • National Public Works Week serves as a time to recognize the many contributions of the public works professionals, who design, build, operate and maintain the transportation, water supply, sewage and refuse disposal systems, public buildings and other public structures and facilities essential to our quality of life and economic vitality.
  • The Theme for this year’s event is “Advancing Quality of Life for All”. Your attendance and participation in this event would be greatly appreciated and mean a lot to our public works professionals.
  • This equipment show will open at 10:00 a.m. with a continental breakfast. At 1:00 p.m. a delicious hot and cold lunch will be served, and the show will conclude at 2:30 p.m.
  • Please promote and encourage the attendance of Highway and Public Works Superintendents, Commissioners, Foremen, Fleet staff and Elected Officials. In fact, if you bring along an elected official from your Municipality, and reserve lunch tickets in advance, the New York Metropolitan Chapter will treat both of you to the luncheon. Again, we ask that you spread the word among your fellow highway and public works officials and invite them to attend.
  • Navigate here to access the Colleague Registration Form for advance purchase of luncheon tickets.
  • Navigate here to access the Vendor Registration Form.  Please distribute to your providers of goods and services.
  • We look forward to seeing you on May 22nd, rain or shine.
